m8internet
Not a *, probably doesn't have available funds on PayPal account I would suggest preparing a PayPal invoice, for the outstanding amount Allow a specific time for payment Alternatively, accept the secondary payment, then merge on the customers account If you are in doubt, cancel the order and refund through PayPal Advise the customer you cannot fulfil their order and a full refund has been made

zomex
From what I've seen with dodge orders they generally do order many products including dedicated IPs. I guess if a spammer is using a stolen PayPal account since it's not their money they will order many products in order to look like a genuine customer. I think you did the right thing in this case but you should have a reason to cancel his account for example worrying results from searching his/her IP or the domain name used to sign up with is still available to register (this is common and risky 99% of the time). Is possible setup Maxfind for not accent orders from countrys I dont what accept? I'm not sure if you can manually select countries to block orders from but there is an option to block orders from high risk countries. kanum
Hi, I think you did the right thing in this case but you should have a reason to cancel his account for example worrying results from searching his/her IP or the domain name used to sign up with is still available to register (this is common and risky 99% of the time). The Domain (still open for register) and the IP of guy (in this case from Austria) From what I've seen with dodge orders they generally do order many products including dedicated IPs. I guess if a spammer is using a stolen PayPal account since it's not their money they will order many products in order to look like a genuine customer. I have change password right, is the best option? Or you have other opinion? In yours opinion what is the high risk countrys? Thanks edit: if any what the email or domains I talk, send me PM Edited March 16, 2011 by kanum
zomex
In yours opinion what is the high risk countrys? I wouldn't want to pointing out countries as every country will have customers looking for hosting with the right intentions. However, there certainly are countries that have a higher rate of fraudulent orders. I recommend accepting orders from any country while monitoring each order closely. m8internet
First line of defence Compare the customer signup WHMCS account email address and their PayPal email address If they do not match, then send an email to the PayPal email address asking them to confirm the email address on which they signed up If this comes back confirming the order, then proceed with processing it However, it doesn't always work I had one such customer with an address in the US, and matching email addresses Four days later a chargeback was made and processed, by then the Domain Name had been ordered and registered
kanum
Hello, What else find it strange in all this is, I never saw anybody ask so much for something. And so elaborate tickets. But never send more then one ticket a day. I already refund the person in question, now ask me for this: "I would kindly request you to approach paypal and say the refund was a mistake and take the payment back - If there will be a need, I will confirm it by e-mail to whom you will tell me to." One MaxMind, on order for check ip, etc. Tell me then the IP is from a organization, and this IP, it seems to be from a Coffe Shop or something like this. This can be? Compare the customer signup WHMCS account email address and their PayPal email address Is the same email. Signup and Paypal. You know if is possible remove for list of countries (in whmcs) all countries except the ones appear to be? I mean, to appear in WHMCS Customers signup only Portugal? This is possible?
