Try checking the php session time out value and php max execution time value in php.ini file of the server. Try increasing it which may solve this. If this issue was during installation of WHMCS, the installation itself would have pointed out this issue, so I guess you must have got this issue suddenly some day that is because some changes happened on server like apache recompile (easyapache in case of cpanel) which also recompiles php thus resetting the php.ini to default.
