trine
Just a note that Directi/Resellerclub just released the .uk and central nic names. Does any one have them available yet?

CSNM-Carl
DirectI/ResellerClub, from the looks of it they don't support .uk transfers. Just registrations and renewals.

Daniel
You mean that you can't transfer them away from DirectI? Don't think i'll bother if thats the case!
othellotech
You mean that you can't transfer them away from DirectI? Don't think i'll bother if thats the case! You cant transfer them to or from directi, also they dont show on the Nominet members list, so they're going through a 3rd party for them. So in theevent of you needing any support for a failed or rejected renewal/registration they basically have no ability to help you - not good !
CSNM-Carl
Best to be avoided.
trine
You mean that you can't transfer them away from DirectI? Don't think i'll bother if thats the case! You can transfer away from what we've been told, but not to. ????? othello, where did you read that you can't transfer away? Just curious. From what I gather, it looks like Directi was promising .UK and other tlds like .de for some years. Perhaps they did not meet some criteria by their launch date and are using someone else for their backend. who knows??
Daniel
Who is everybody using that needs to register .uk domains then? I've looked at all that WHMCS supports and all seem to have their ups and downs so can't decide who is best to go with.
