Client Profile > Payment Method - how to look up?

Greetings,

 

I am running v4.4.2. In my client profile pages I am able to set their Payment Method to either "Visa and MC" or "Mail In Payment". However, when I return to a client's profile, I am not able to see which method has been set as the default payment method.

 

Is there a screen within their Summary/Profile that will show me what method was previously selected? I'm not seeing it...

 

Right now if I return to their profile page, under Payment Method, the drop-down defaults to "Select to Change Default" - but it does not show what was selected previously - so I don't know if the client is set to pay by credit card or check.

EDIT: actually you answered a question I didn't even know I had - Can you use different payment methods for different products/services/domains? Yes! Yes you can. Thanks again.
