JerusaHost- Mark
Hi, I am not clear exactly on how to create a an additional contact that only has permission to open support tickets. I don't want them to be included in replies to other people's tickets. -Do I need to active them as a sub-account? -Do I check the support check box in Email Notifications? -What about View & Open Support Tickets in Permissions? Thank you
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 3, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 3, 2011 1. Only if you want them to be able to login to the client area. 2. Yes 3. Only if you create them as a sub-account in 1.
JerusaHost- Mark
ok, so if the only thing I check off is email notifications without creating a sub-account, they will be able to open tickets via email but will not be cc'd in the primary contact's/other contact's tickets, correct?
JerusaHost- Mark
I'm still confused about this What exactly needs to be checked/unchecked so that the only thing contact can do is open tickets and receive replies to his tickets only? Thanks

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 7, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 7, 2011 My answer was "Correct". The "7 char" bit is to get around the minimum post length restriction
