What error are you seeing when running the sync script?

Hi John,

We get an error message when trying to update any domain.

Exact message is :

Registrar Error

Bad User name or Password

Wen we changed the password in the setting section for this registrar we get a succesful message:

Changes Saved Successfully!

The changes to the registrar settings have been saved.

Password is copy pasted to log into enom and there it works.

Is there any log we can look at to have more info ?

thanks for your help, this is becoming problematic as clients are paying for new domain or renewal and it doesn't register at the registrar.

There's no log, the error you see on-screen is the exact error returned from eNom.

I discover we are using an older whmcs version, could that be related ?

We use quite complex password with symbols in them, could it be some symbols not being escaped by the script ?

thanks for your help,

Hi John,

I was able to solve the problem by using a shorter and less complex password.

I share with you the password that was generating errors so you can check with your developpers how it was broking by the script (might be the lenght of it):
