Domain renewal problems

Hi there,

Recently I discovered some problems, which might be caused by a bug, or by incorrect settings, or ..... something else?

Anyhow, I got two issues, which might be/are related to each other.

1) One of my clients got an email about a domain renewal. It said:

The domain name listed below will expire in -14969 days.

The automation settings are as follows:

60, 30, 15, 7, 1

What I noticed is that this problem only or mainly (not too sure) occurs on domains that have the 'do not renew' checkbox checked (activated). That brings me to the second 'problem'.

2. It sends out a renewal email, whereas it shouldn't send out an email at all, or at least not one saying the domain will be renewed.

---

Anyone has an idea on how to solve this issue? Is it something I misconfigured? Are there known bugs I seemed to miss? I did check the wiki and forums, but couldn't find anything related.

Let me know! And I hope you all had a happy christmas :)

Tijn

Hmm i completely missed it, think I used the wrong search terms. Thanks for pointing me there.

What about the second 'problem' that occured. A domain was checked with "Do not renew", but still WHMCS sent out an email about domain renewal.

Is this also caused be the same misconfiguration (due date / expiration date) on my side? Any thoughts? \

Thanks for the support.

It still sends out the renewal notice email in case they want to change their mind.

It won't generate an invoice though.

What I meant was; is it possible to NOT send any domain renewal emails ONLY if the client has the checkbox "Do not renew" ticked?

In other words. The system should not send out an email, if the client does not want to renew.

Thanks.
