yatest9
Hi, I've been looking for a UK payment processor that: -already has a module written for WHMCS and -allows me to take batch payments I've been down several roads without look. I signed up with SecPay as they have a module written, but I was sold a different product called Fastrack which wasn't suited to my needs so I stopped writing a module. Has anyone got any recommendations. I realise there isn't a fast way to do this and I'll perhaps have to become PCI compliant but someone must have been this process before to try and get a decent payment process system working. Thanks, Tom
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 15, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 15, 2010 Have you taken a look at WorldPay Futurepay? When a client makes their first payment a FuturePay agreement is setup that stores the client's details on WorldPay's system, a unique 'FuturePay ID' is then stored in WHMCS. Whenever you want to charge the client the invoice amount and FuturePay ID is sent to WorldPay and the card is charged. This allows you to make recurring payments without the need to store any card numbers in WHMCS, therefore avoiding any costs involved with PCI certification

Are they better? The problem with future pay and other subscription services is that I can't change the subscription amount or date of subscription. Say for example I changed the pricing of a hosting package (VAT change), I need to be able to reflect this change in the subscription amounts.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 15, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 15, 2010 I can't comment on the fees and costs of any individual provider. But with the Limited Futurepay Agreements system WHMCS uses (the name is rather inappropriate I think as it's actually very flexible) the amount the client's card is charged is based on the invoice amount in WHMCS and you can charge it at any time. It's not fixed like PayPal subscriptions for example.
