Automatic Acount Creation

Hey,

 

First post on the forum

 

I have a very simple question - my current set up does not have an automatic account creation in place.

 

I was wondering if I was to set up say 20 users at a time, could I place these into WHMCS to then be emailed to all new users? Or will it only work if WHMCS can fully integrate into the setup procedure. All it would need to be is an email with a URL, user name and password.

 

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Sure, you can manually add clients to WHMCS and then manually suspend/terminate their services if you wish: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Importing_Data#Manual_Client_Entry

Sure, the post was a bit brief!

 

I run a small hosting company - I was wondering if I was to pre setup an account on the server would it then be possible to send a new user this information automaticly when they sign up / or displayed in their client area?

 

The whole idea is to give users instant access to a unique username and password with the link to access the account.

No, I don't think the way you mean, however you can setup WHMCS so that the account is automattically setup when you receive your first payment, or when the order is placed.

 

You can do this by

 

Admin Panel > Setup > Products and Services > *Edit/Create Produvt > Module Settings

 

Its at the very bottom
