frewebsolutions
Hi everyone, New to WHMCS, just installed it the other day. Really like the time it saves once its setup. How ever, I am having one issue with it, My domain register is Distribute.IT (i dont think this has anything to do with them). I added all my domain names, i started by adding .com.au and tested the search by typing in a domain that i had already checked was available, sure enough my sites domain checker came back as available to register. So i went through and added .com.au .org.au .net.au then .com .org .au etc etc etc etc so 30 or so TLD's later and i was finished including adding pricing which matches my prices set with Distribute.IT. Now, i went to test again and anything with a (.au) extension says its not available even if i know it is available. How ever everything else like just (.com) works fine. Cant work this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! From what i gather, WHMCS availability check has nothing to do with the reseller account, the reseller account only comes into play with the payment and registration, Correct or not?
frewebsolutions
one more addition, i also noticed that "whois" doesnt work with .au extensions only as well. tells me i checked to many times and have been black listed. how ever all other domains work with whois......
frewebsolutions
think i found the answer in the forums. Too many searches/whois for AU domains and have been blacklisted for 24 hours?? if thats the case and someone can confirm i guess you can delete this topic.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 30, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 30, 2010 That is the most likely cause. If you use the domain checker and click the "Whois" link you should see the error returned from the whois server.
