Duplicate Order Emails

Hi,

 

I ran a test order today, but for some reason my installation sent 4 emails to the new client.

 

2 Order confirmations and 2 Welcome emails (I only got one Order Notification)

 

Any ideas why this is happening?

Is there only one order listed in WHMCS?

Are the emails listed twice under the client's Emails tab?

Hi,

 

Only one account / order - although it is for a domain and a hosting account - But I dont think it counts as too orders?

 

In the clients email tab, only listed once (two emails - Order Conf and Welcome)

 

Just seems odd that it duplicated them

Have you configured WHMCS to send a copy of these emails to you by any chance?

Setup > General Settings > Mail tab and Setup > Email Templates > Edit.

I have the same problem. The System Email Message Log only shows a single instance of each required email, but I am getting two instead. One difference is that the received time on the first set is 8:53 am and the date on the duplicate set is 8:24 am. The 8:53's appeared in my mail box first, and then he 8:24's.

 

One conclusion on the time issue is that whatever processes are sending, they are non using the same system clock... but I only have a single server in operation.
