nalberti
Hi all, Just wondering if there is an easy way to do this, I need to merge two WHMCS installs as I am taking over another business with the same setup. Will it be a manual SQL transfer or are there the facilities to do this built in ? Ideally I would like the customer list and details along with the services and account history. Otherwise I guess I will transfer with cPanel WHM and then import from there. Any advice on the best way to do this would be appreciated.
GORF
In your WHMCS client area (here), you will find import scripts - one to do this is there. Be carefull. Backup first! I am not sure it is meant to merge 2 databases. The instructions say to import into an empty database. I don't know if it looks at existing IDs and increments the imported ones above that.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 17, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 17, 2010 The WHMCS2WHMCS import script is designed to handle merging two active installations, so no need to worry about having one clean installation (it's only the other product 2 WHMCS importers that require an empty installation). But it is imperative both installations are running the same version of WHMCS.
