Vinsar
How to handle this, let say we have reseller accounts from multiple registrars using LogicBoxes platform. So how to integrate them, I can see that there are modules for resellerclub, netearthone etc., but there are many more out there in the wild. As per discussions in this forum and elsewhere, we can use resellerclub module for non listed registrars in the registrar modules. What I was thinking is, are the two modules resellerclub/netearthone really different or are they same with just different names, if so can we just make a new folder with the registrar or our choice who is on logicboxes platform an upload the resellerclub module there, renaming files to the same name as folder itself. Will this work?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 12, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 12, 2010 You can use all the modules interchangeably, the ResellerClub, NetEarthOne and Stargate modules can be used with any RC reseller.
Vinsar
I am aware of interchangeability, that is fine. But let's say we have one from RC and the other that we want to use is XYZ and we want to see it as XYZ. I tried it by making a new folder xyz and copied files from RC folder, and renamed those file too, it showed up in the registrars list, but it did not populated the user/pass/parentID fields.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 12, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 12, 2010 Just changing the file name won't work as several changes inside the module itself need to be made, if you want a custom module making up please open a support ticket.
