tekiegreg
Ok so we're moving from one DirectAdmin/WHMCS Server to another of similar setup. We're moving the users piecemeal (giving adequate time to test) in batches of 4-5 users per day using DirectAdmin facilities. However our concern is with WHMCS since the WHMCS users are going to have to move all at once (I don't see any per user options anyways). For now we're using the old WHMCS Server for the billing, but the billing will transfer shortly as well. When we move WHMCS to the new server, will it pick up on all its old users that were there? How does it link to users in DirectAdmin? And yes for now we're running dual licenses, we actually transferring to owned as opposed to monthly licenses with our new setup.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 18, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 18, 2010 It uses the server details under Setup > Servers > Edit and the username under the client's products/services tab. As long as they're correct (which wouldn't change when moving the location of your WHMCS install) there won't be an issue.
