Server disabled direct root access, su root/ sudo required

hoball,

I can confirm that whmcs does its magic with direct root access via ssh disabled. I am guessing that it is not working over ssh since it asks if you want to use ssl. That leads me to believe it works over http/https instead. Please use https instead of http.

Have a great day!

Hey,

All you need is root access via WHM, not SSH or server wide but WHM. You have to setup a reseller and give it the permission of "root access." This should not add the user to wheel group of root but have root access to WHM.

Adam
