  1. Hi Frankk, I am in the US and I get very fast response times. Unlike some other billing apps, WHMCS just works.
  2. Matt, Thanks for the update. Is there a way to record whether they ever made the call or quite before making the call?
  3. Same here. I just got an order marked as fraud. No maxmind details are available in WHMCS. Maxmind has the log of the transaction though... with a score of 9.13.. YIKES. What I would like to know is if they were required to make a phone verification. I don't see the results of that anywhere, or is that broken out anywhere. I use the mindfraud premium services telephone verification and I have tons of credits left. Has anyone already sent in a ticket on this issue? If so, what was the response?
  4. Yes, it will work... sortof. There are serveral ways you can do it. If you are on cpanel, you can create a subdomain and then create an email for the subdomain. Then forward your emails from google to the subdomains email address and pipe that subdomains email into WHMCS. You can also setup getmail fetch and do it like this in cron, all on one line of course: */5 * * * * getmail_fetch -dq -s -p995 pop.gmail.com support@domain.com MyPassWord "| /usr/bin/php -q -f /home/user_name/public_html/pipe/pipe.php" >/dev/null 2>&1
  5. I changed it in the templates since I use two websites to sell hosting from. I didn't want one site name to be in the title to confuse people.
  6. now that we are onto ftp clients. I have used winscp forever, but I picked up smartftp the other day. Pretty sweet I must say.
  7. Let me try. I think what is being said is "Sending of data for new hosting accounts gets tagged as spam or not delivered to the mail box"
  8. I like the new phpbb myself http://www.cpanelcommunity.com was just setup recently.
  9. I don't mind at all. The icons are from the fam fam fam collection http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/ I think an attribution with a link back to him in your readme is all that he wants. Not a bad deal.
  10. Any chance we can Remove the logo and the company name text in emails where the logo normally is?
  11. Thanks, So I will need to terminate hosting accounts before I delete them from WHMCS. Thanks again for the info. Tracy
  12. Hi, If I delete a client in WHMCS, should it delete the clients account on the cpanel server? I just deleted an account but the account is still on the server. Thanks, Tracy
  13. Thanks rodeoXtreme, Thats one more thing I need to put on my task list now
  14. Thanks David. I wish someone that had some time could take this and keep it updated with current versions. If someone would like to take over, please feel free and just post to this thread to update everyone.
  15. Sorry about that then I took it personal, because you quoted me
  16. Sorry for the lengthy post... I hate it when people make accusations that are simply false.
  17. Ummmm.... I never said I liked anything better, *nor* did I imply that. I was simply stating the fact that other applications offered this functionality... so the difficulty must not be that great, especially since Matt runs circles around them with the ability to spit out good code. Did you actually read through my post? Maybe you should go back and read it line for line. I am guessing that Matt is making a living by coding WHMCS, and to grow as a company he will need to add features (and pricing) or the app will become stagnated over time and people will simply pass it up for not keeping up with demand. To think otherwise is a little naive' on your part. If you have a simple hosting operation, good for you. When you grow beyond shared hosting and actually selling hosting from more than single domain, it gets vastly more complicated. I have chosen WHMCS but to get rid of Ubersmith, I do need additional features that I simply *can't* do without, unless I want to add to my workload... and that is just not an option at this point. Matt has already stated that he is working on some features that are needed by the WHMCS community. This is just one of those features that I want because it will make selling from different domains easier. Oh, and after a client signs up and I have the opportunity to explain the domain they purchased hosting from is *not* the company name, then I don't mind if they get support from one central location. During the order process, I would like to make it as seamless as possible with the site they are buying hosting from, but as it sits right now, I can't do that.
  18. Maybe let the user choose which TLD's to search instead of the whole shebang. I have a lot of TLD's enabled and would hate for them all to be searched every time. Also if you could pull up the pricing on the "Order a domain only" form that would be good. Overall it looks good. What I really like about Matt, is he doesn't appear to have an elitist attitude like some other mbilling applications and actually looks for community feedback on implementing such a feature to make it complete the first time around. Thanks again Matt for confirming why I chose WHMCS.
  19. hoball, I can confirm that whmcs does its magic with direct root access via ssh disabled. I am guessing that it is not working over ssh since it asks if you want to use ssl. That leads me to believe it works over http/https instead. Please use https instead of http. Have a great day!
  20. Hi, How do I turn off the image & replacement link that is place in sent emails if there is no image defined in the config. Is there a manual setting/deletion in the database or a replacement file that we can get without that code in it?
  21. I apologize if I made it sound that way. I knew it would take more that that. I am guessing you would be required to setup profiles in the admin area, then configure each profile just like you do know, down to the registrar and ticket system level. Then on each remote instance, have a config file that you set which profile to use and a way to license that instance for the domain. One really good thing that you have going is the "duplicate a product". It would be good if you could use "duplicated a profile", since most of the time they are not going to be that much different. On second thought most of mine would... well the products but thats about it. When do we get started brainstorming
  22. Matt, Ubersmith does it. WHMAP does it. WHMCS should do it. Modernbill does remote order forms. There would only be one admin area to view support tickets. Allow creation of seperate emails, responders etc for each "profile" I am sure its complicated, if it wasn't we would all have our own system coded. There is a definite call for these enhancements. Are you dead set against it? Or are you just not excited about doing it, but *might* consider it?
  23. Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. Lets see, thats 5 extra *monthly* licenses I would purchase, in addition to a development license. I would like the client section and order forms to be totally separate from the admin area.
