0 bear
1. how do i find out my server ip address2. when i setup and try to login to cpanel it gives error? why? To find out the server IP, while using Windows as your home computer: Start->run->type cmd then press ok. In that window, type "ping mydomainname.com" (without "quotes" and using the actual domain name) then press enter on the keyboard. It should show something like this: C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx>ping google.com Pinging google.com [72.14.204.99] with 32 bytes of data Reply from 72.14.204.99: bytes=32 time=29ms TTL=52 Reply from 72.14.204.99: bytes=32 time=29ms TTL=52 Reply from 72.14.204.99: bytes=32 time=33ms TTL=52 Reply from 72.14.204.99: bytes=32 time=29ms TTL=52 Ping statistics for 72.14.204.99: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 29ms, Maximum = 33ms, Average = 30ms As for the Cpanel error, we'd need more information to have any clue what's wrong. What error are you seeing? Ask your host ! If you don't want to help...
