Automatic Download after payment???

Is there a way to automatically allow a client to download a purchased product as soon as they have paid me?

 

At the moment it just sets the order status to pending and I have to manually approve everything.

 

I'm sure it says on this site somewhere that you can allow instant downloads after payment...

 

I have done some digging on this forum and it seems this might not be possible - but is there anyone that could confirm this one way or the other please?

Also, is there a way to limit the number of downloads associated with each product?

 

For example, if a client orders a downloadable product, can I set it up so that they only get 2 downloads? And if they use all their downloads, they have to re-order?
