DesignItHostIt
Hello everyone I am using the default template, in the background of the template there is a kind of grey colour similar to the background here on the forum, I am running my installation through an iframe on my site to make intergration all the easier, I need to change this colour to plain old white can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance Chris
laszlof
Edit the stylesheet associated with that particular template. For what its worth, its not really going to make it any easier to integrate using an iframe.

laszlof
I'm not sure why you would want to use an iframe. Simply editing the header.tpl/footer.tpl will allow the page to integrate nicely with an existing layout.

Simply editing the header.tpl/footer.tpl will allow the page to integrate nicely with an existing layout. Hello The reason for opting for the iframe is my main navbar has mouseovers and in the past (this must be the third time I have installed WHMCS in the last 12 months and on each occassion give up because of intergration mainly) I have had an absolute nightmare keeping my mouseovers when going down the normal intergration route, the use of the iframe completely gets rid of the need to do this hence bypassing all of the head banging on the table I am far to much of a skinflint to pay for such things to be done for me, besides which this defeats the object completely as then I would not have learnt how to do it in the first place so therefore would be reliant upon paying again for any future changes. The Iframe alternative so far is working remarkebly well, had to use the default template as my website is not as wide as the portal template but everything is fully functioning within the iframe and as said working well. This is something new to me so if you have any insights to share it would be appreciated, I just see it at this moment in time as a huge time saving shortcut to basically achieve the same thing as a full intergration, the way I have constructed the iframe you would never know Thanks Chris
laszlof
I'm not sure why mouseovers wouldn't work, unless you are using the same ID's/styles as something in the whmcs stylesheet.

Hello I have no idea as said I gave up on this software 3 times because of this issue, my site uses quite a lot of javascript the knowledgable few here put it down to that only option completely re-write navigation which was a no no. As said the Iframe is working really well, will have to monitor it and see how it goes Chris
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 23, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 23, 2010 We do recommend against using an iframe as it will in all likelihood cause a problem, particularly with payment gateways.
