knipper
Hi all, Last month a client updated a paypal subscription. He then paid his invoice twice. So a few questions. Firstly... lets say his bill is $5 on his invoice, he paid $5 x2 ... instead of a $5 credit, the invoice shows a $10 credit. So for this month he actually doesn't owe a bill. How do I properly adjust the invice to send it as $0 ?? Also, I see two paypal subscriptions in paypal, I was going to contact him to find out which one to cancel Any suggestions to solve this correctly?
b.ahmed
When your client have PayPal subscription then ask him NOT to pay the invoice. Because when subscription is enabled then Payments are taken automatically from their PayPal account on due date. If he paid $10 then give him $5 credit and adjust the invoice through WHMCS admin.
knipper
If he paid $10 then give him $5 credit and adjust the invoice through WHMCS admin. I'm not sure if he manually paid it, or just updated his subscription, causing the 2nd charge. But as I stated... I do see 2 subscriptions now. I'm gonna go check out Paypal now... to take a second look. When your client have PayPal subscription then ask him NOT to pay the invoice. Because when subscription is enabled then Payments are taken automatically from their PayPal account on due date.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 2, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 2, 2010 If there are two transactions under the invoice, credit should have been added automatically to the client's account.
