Background and menu

Hello,

 

I am trying to make only 3 changes to my default template but I can't figure out where to make the changes and how.

 

1.How and where do I create a horizontal menu at the top, right below the company name with text and graphic on the Portal page?

 

2. How and where do I change the background color of the Portal page (style.css or header.tpl or ,etc...)?

 

3. How and where do I add a bottom menu on the Portal page (footer.tpl, etc....)?

 

I really appreciate some help on these items. If possible please be specific.

For this you have to edit header.tpl

to change colour you have to only edit style.css

For Footer + Sidebar you have to edit footer.tpl. In WHMCS sidebar & footer are in same template file i.e Footer.tpl

 

Now if HOW TO DO IT ? is a long question. You can ask few specific question which i can answer one by one

Thanks for responding and I think I found a short term solution. Since I am using Joomla I just used the wrapper and customize the color scheme to fit the rest of the site.

 

However, I do have another question. I would like to manually register my new customers domain names, what settings or changes do I need to make within WHMCS so that it collects the domain name request but I choose how I register it?

Select "None" from the registrar dropdowns under Setup > Domain Pricing. You will then need to manually view the order details and select which registrar to use before accepting the order.
