WHMCS/CPanel integration process

Hi,

 

I'm just wondering at what stage of the order process does WHMCS contact CPanel or any other control panel for that matter to add the package for the customer? I'd presume it would be after providing the billing information and completing the checkout process but I'm only speculating so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It depends which option you've selected under Setup > Payment Gateways > Module Settings tab.

Well currently I'm just trying to put a theoretical solution in place before purchasing all the software.

So I can control when WHMCS will contact cPanel to assign a package to a customer?

It can be setup to provision the accounts either immediately after the order is accepted (automated) or you can manually accept the orders and provision at that time.
