stop email sending

Hi all,

 

I am new with whmcs and I am installing it right now.

I have one question if I set whmcs to maintenance mode will it hold all emails.

That way I can input my users without sending them a email right away.

 

In the manual the only thing I could find was this:

 

1.Enable maintenance mode in General Settings to stop client side orders and changes

 

But here it says it will only stop client side mails or not..

No it won't stop emails. To do that navigate to Setup > General Settings > Mail tab.

Select the "SMTP" option but leave all the other fields blank.
