EricHamby
I have used WHMCS on 2 other hosts with no issues, this changed when i moved to 1and1. I have had to start filling in paypal details of transactions manuly for some reason. The IPN is saying the details were sent but WHMCS never seems to get them. Anyone else had this problem.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 21, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 21, 2010 So there's no record of the payments in WHMCS under Billing > Gateway Log? Login to PayPal and check History > IPN History, are the IPNs showing as successfully sent?
EricHamby
Gateway data is blank from the time i moved to 1and1 on. And yes the IPN is showing sent with no errors.
mylove4life
Have you added the new IP's to Paypal's API
EricHamby
I never had to set any IP before to get this to work. API is used only for refunds if im not mistaken.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 23, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 23, 2010 PayPal doesn't require IPs to be whitelisted for IPN to work. Please check your server log, are there any records of the callback URL (listed on the IPN History > Message ID page) being accessed?
EricHamby
Yes im getting the callback url of : http://since83.com/clients/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php
MediaPlayStudios
Yes im getting the callback url of : http://since83.com/clients/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php Eric, From what I'm seeing on this ionCube PHP Loaders has not been installed on this server and WHMCS requires this to be installed and enabled in order for this to work correctly. Also CURL must also be installed and available for most if not all payment gateways to work correctly my suggestion would be to find a host that supports these options by default Edited June 24, 2010 by MediaPlayStudios For to note something
EricHamby
I have installed ioncube but forgot to add the php.ini files to all the folder to point to ioncude. i use curl on a few other things and it seems to work fine. i hope this works.
MediaPlayStudios
OK....Is this a VPS or Dedicated Server because there is a 2 step process to have ionCube to work globally across the entire server. Because even if you place an php.ini file in every folder if it's not configured with Apache then it won't work
