JakkFrosted
I'm really liking the options in WHMCS so far and successfully got it integrated with my site's theme, now I just have a few kinks to work out. To start, I can't make products that cost nothing without having issues. I sell game servers and it would be easier for the customers if there was no base price and just however many slots x the per slot price. Right now I have most of the products set to a base price of 8 slots, plus the configurable options amount. If I make the products cost nothing then the billing cycle option is not there. Also, I don't see how I can have different billing cycles without having to make additional products (thus on different pages) and configurable options. Here's a link to my setup and a link to another company's setup of how I'd like mine to be. How the other people have it set is how I've seen many game server companies set up. What do I need to do to make mine just like their setup? Mine: http://www.qgameservers.com/billing/cart.php?a=add&pid=4 In the link below they have it so the page just reloads when a different billing cycle is chosen and there is no base price, it's just slot count = price. I want mine exactly like their's. I'm thinking this is a mod or something cuz like I said, I've seen it before. WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 10, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 10, 2010 You can specify the different billing cycles for a single product under the Pricing tab.
JakkFrosted
I know this but the per slot price will of course have to be higher for a 3 month period so how can I have the configurable options change on the fly automatically when a customer chooses a different billing cycle? For example a 1 dollar per slot server for 3 months will need configurable options of $3 per slot. Now on the site I linked theirs changes on the fly, but to the best of my understanding I would have to make different products to have different configurable options apply.
JakkFrosted
Moreover: Basically, can you tell me how I can make my setup function like the one in the link I supplied? A lot of people have theirs working like that. Which is: Products with no base price, YET not displaying something like Monthly Price $0.00. Price is Value x Slots. ( Doesn't have to say "slots" I can edit the code for that.) The Per Slot price changes when the customer chooses different billing cycles.
