easyhosting
Hi Just a quich not to warn anyone using 0870 or 0871 numbers in the UK. if you use these numbers then you must register with PhonepayPlus (http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk) if you do not then you will be increasing the likelihood of a formal investigation and will receive complaints from consumers. then you have to publish the pricing information in close proximity to the number itself to read something like this "TELEPHONE CHARGES - calls to our 0871 number are charged at 10p per minute from a BT landline, calls from mobiles and other operators may be higher." FirstnetServLtd
There is no point using a 0870 or 0871 number, its greedy and purely for profit.

FirstnetServLtd
0843 and 0844 and 0845 are generaly not for profit, there is a hell of a cost difference. 0871 is a premium rate number. And can i also add 0845 is usualy free on most bt call plans.
easyhosting
0843 and 0844 and 0845 you still get a revenue from these, which is still roughly the same revenue as an 0870, 0871 number, which is between 1p to 3p per minute revenue. the only exception is 070 numbers which are far more expensive.
