[NOT A BUG] Custom Domain Renewal Pricing Renewal

Recommended Posts

We have a few clients with multiple domains for which we provide custom pricing.

So lets say our normal domain price is $40, they have special price of $35.

The $35 is definately recorded on their domain as the price, and if an invoice is generated it works fine.

But, if the customer logs in to WHMCS, and manually renews the domain, it show the normal price of $40 instead of their custom price.

I have played with this on multiple clients accounts and its always the same.

When you try to renew manually, it completely ignores the set pricing on their domain.

Any way to fix this as one of our customers has a lot of domains and is having this problem constantly.

Help?

This is correct how you're seeing it. The early renewal uses default pricing as it shows the renewal options for each year that's available. To get their custom pricing they need to use a coupon when renewing or wait for the automated invoice.

Hi Matt,

This would be fine - but there is no option to use a coupon from what I can see.

When I log in to the the customer area, click on the domain and then click on the Renew Domain button - it goes to the option of choosing how many years.

But then, when I click on the 'Order Renewal' button it goes straight to creating an invoice for payment.

How does the customer enter a coupon for domain renewal?
