Currency Changes

I have a customer set in USD. Customer purchases some products. Now, he changes the currency to INR.

 

Change happens, prices come up properly while ordering.

 

However, previously created invoices do not retain the Original currency OR update previous invoices' amounts to the new currency.

 

For Eg. Initially, the product invoice was USD 8.

Exchange rate of 1USD = 50 INR.

Currency rate changed to INR.

 

Invoice shows as INR 8; which is not correct.

 

How can I get this to work?

This is expected behaviour. We do not recommend changing a client's currency once they have placed an order as you will need to change their invoice history, transactions and recurring prices. This is also why clients cannot change the currency themselves.
