dswp
I created a quote using the drop-downs to pull in the descriptions & pricing. Then I used the "convert to invoice" button. Now - I have an invoice, but it didn't create any orders for the items that I selected. How do I add this (1 year month-by-month billing) order, without billing the client twice - AND making sure that the invoices keep generating every month like they do with a regular order? thanks for any tips! dswp
Any thoughts on quote to invoice? Or do you manually 'accept' the quote, and create a new order for the same items?
dswp
Even if the answer is stupid-obvious, could someone be kind enough to explain? Sincerely, Simple-Minded-Me
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 5, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 5, 2010 It is not possible to convert a quote to an order, you'd need to manually place the order instead.
dswp
John, If I create a quote, and change the status to 'accepted', will the invoice be created? And then if I create an order - won't that also create either 1) an invoice or 2) a FREE item? How do I simply use the quote feature - and then the invoice and order features?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 5, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 5, 2010 That's correct. So you would place the order instead of accepting the quote.
