Vincent Vega
When a client cancels the subscription, how should I do that in WHMCS? I think the Terminate button on the product page instantly cancled it, whole the product should be stopped at the end of the Next Due Date. How to do this?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 23, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 23, 2010 Are you referring to a PayPal subscription? If that's cancelled then you do nothing, WHMCS will automatically send invoice reminders reminding the client that they need to manually make a payment. If a client submits a cancellation request and selects "immediate" the account will automatically be cancelled when the cron runs. If they select "end of billing cycle" it will automatically be cancelled on the next due date.
Vincent Vega
No, just a normal subscription of a product in whmcs. Can a admin cancel the new generation of an invoice?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 23, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 23, 2010 Not in 4.1.2, but in version 4.2 admins can schedule a product to terminate at the end of the billing cycle (just as a client can). This prevents a new invoice from being generated as long as the cancellation request is made before the invoice is generated.
