Way to use single WHMCS license with two different sites

caisc

Question

Hi,

I wish to buy WHMCS license but have a query,

Actually i have 2 different domains a.com and b.com.

On both of them we sell hosting packages and domains.

What i wish to do is, i will install WHMCS on a third domain c.com and will use this domain as master billing domain for both sites mentioned above. This will reduce our setup cost and also we will be able to manage both sites from one WHMCS control panel.

Now can i create 2 different profiles for the two sites in WHMCS to treat specific site clients?

like clients of a.com will get invoices on the name of a.com and b.com clients will get invoice from name b.com. Also the same thing is to be done in case of support ticket services.

Thanks

Personally I market a.com and b.com as brands/trademarks/product-portals and have c.com as my actual company and billing entity. Both a.com and b.com show "A C.COM Company" as well as some subtle graphical reference to c.com to make sure people aren't surprised by the redirect.

Niels, with your setup (which is a great solution, yet so simple), is it in fact possible to have accounts created for a.com and b.com on the same cPanel server through WHMCS?

To clearify: a.com and b.com are both tradenames of hosting company c.com. WHMCS is registered to c.com. The cPanel server is setup to be c.com's server. a.com and b.com are both resellers on c.com's server and in c.com's reseller account.

An order is placed on a.com's website and processed by c.com's WHMCS. Now an account needs to be created by c.com's WHMCS in the reseller account of a.com.
