itdeptcorp
Hello, Our business model does not actually re-sell Domains. On the Shopping Cart page the Second Option is "Step 2 - Domain Options" Can this be changed or adjusted to say something else? Thanks
evolhost
Edit the Language files inside /[your-whmcs-directory]/lang. In your case, most likely "English.txt" This methoid applies to both of your recent posts, happy whmcs'n!

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 22, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 22, 2010 You can untick the Domain Registration Options in Setup > General Settings > Domains tab to remove the domain options. Then ensure Require Domain is unticked in Setup > Products/Services > Edit.

John, Thank you for the response - However We did in fact already have it removed from Settings - Our issue as mentioned is 1) Shopping Cart - Shows up as Step 2 2) Shows up in Client UI as link to "My Domains" 3) Also is listed in Client UI as "Number of Domains: 0 (0)" Our first step to remove domains completely from our versions would be to remove it as a step in the Shopping Cart first. Then find a way to remove it completely from Customer facing views- Is this at all possible? Txs
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 22, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 22, 2010 Then ensure Require Domain is unticked in Setup > Products/Services > Edit. You can remove other references to domains by editing the appropriate template files.
itdeptcorp
You can remove other references to domains by editing the appropriate template files. Is there any significant effect by removing from .tpl files? Or will it simply be cosmetic as we would like?
epicconstruct
You'll need to edit files as opposed to just removing them. Start with header.tpl and footer.tpl to remove the link from the navigation. Is there any significant effect by removing from .tpl files? Where are the cart templates?

NetwiseHosting
Hi there, Just thought I would add on what everyone else is saying. Yes you need to edit the templates for the theme you are using in the folder: templates > orderforms > your theme. To remove domain fields we simply encapsulated them in a standard <!-- code --> tag so that they are not displayed but are still there if you ever need them. If you want further support on this and the complete location list of what needs to be changed then we can do this for you but we charge £25. Kind regards, Matthew
