ChunkyLover
I have WHMCS v. 4.0.2 and would like to attempt a manual upgrade. I was reading the documentation and the part I was unclear about was when it said "Upload the files to your existing installation folder overwriting any existing files." I was just wondering which files exactly, because I remember upon initial installation I just uploaded the entire zip file. Which files do I upload into what directory? Thanks
thehost5968
Befor you do make shore your template folders have been renamed then All the files in the new version as they are encoded so you could not of changed any of them. BUT DO A FULL BACK-UP OF ALL FILES AND DATA BASE FIRST. BUT DO A FULL BACK-UP OF ALL FILES AND DATA BASE FIRST. WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 16, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 16, 2010 It quite simply means to upload everything. But as ******* mentioned, if you've made customisations be sure to back them up first.
