Patty
I'm getting thiserror when sending emails (for added payment, new invoice, new order...) Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/user/public_html/whmcs/includes/functions.php(0) : eval()'d code on line 1 The email is sent anyway. This started to happen I guess after I placed "$display_errors = true;" on my configuration.php to troubleshoot an email template for Dedicated/VPS server. So I guess this error was showing there before, I just couldn't see it because I didn't have the display_errors on. Is this a bug or a problem with my installation? Other than the error showing, I didn't notice anything else that is wrong with my WHMCS. TIA for any clues on that.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 9, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 9, 2010 As long as everything (else) is working then it's nothing to worry about but it's indicating there's a parse error in one or more of your language files. You can just remove $display_errors = true; from your configuration.php file.
Patty
Thank you for your reply, John. Well, I removed all language files except English, Spanish and Portuguese. The one I made more changes is Portuguese, but I can't find any parse errors there. Are you sure this error is only related to a language file? I didn't notice any problems on my site, but if there's an error, I'd like to fix it. Tks for your assistance.
