xpo123
Hi, I have done a search for this, and after looking through a few pages I didn't find anything so thought I would post here. I would like to receive notifications by E-mail when a new order is placed, support ticket is opened etc. - but they are not coming through. Are there any settings I should modify or anything I could do? I have ticked the box that says I want to receive notifications so I'm not sure why it isn't coming through? E-mails are being sent out to clients fine. Any help appreciated, Regards, Dan
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 5, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 5, 2010 Ensure all the email options are selected at the bottom of Setup > Administrator Roles > Edit.
xpo123
Thanks for the reply. All of those options are ticked. I have ensured all admin roles have those boxes ticked (although the only admin is myself and the role is set to "full administrator". I will see if it makes a difference... Are there any other settings that are worth a try? Any additional configuration I may need to do?
xpo123
Just wanted to confirm that I am still not receiving E-mails after changing the above settings... I really am stumped!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 8, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 8, 2010 Sounds dumb, but can you double-check your email address is entered correctly (no blank spaces etc) in Setup > Administrators?
xpo123
Yes it is definitely correct, no whitespaces or anything. I'm a bit puzzled about what else I can try...

Try sending to an email address of a domain NOT hosted on your local server. I'm having precisely THAT problem right now; if I set the admin email address to that of a domain hosted elsewhere, it works, but it won't send to an email address of a site hosted locally. It's driving me nuts!
xpo123
I will give this a go now, will post the results if I receive anything!
xpo123
I can confirm that changing the E-mail address to a domain not hosted on my server has worked... not a massive issue as I am using google apps for my email so have just added a gmail address. Would be interested to know why though!
