Allow certain payment gateways only if total is high enough.

Hi guys,

 

I have been able to finally register with 2co, and made a nice little spread sheet to calculate the percentage a sale would cost me in CC processing fees.

 

Since I work with rands: R100 would cost 8.91%. Any amount invoiced less than this becomes ridiculous in fees and no longer worth it. (R50 is 12.32% and R15 is 28.24%)

 

So is it possible to only show certain payment gateways according to the amount on the invoice.

 

A simple note like "Want to pay with a credit card? Why not add credit to your account and pay all your invoices." Would encourage people to spend more and lower my cost of CC processing.

You could possibly use the $subtotal variable on the viewcart.tpl file and then write a bit of smarty using the if command to only show certain gateways if that value is greater than 100.
