How to have payments for GBP and EUROS for different products

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I am currently trying to add some services I sell which I need payment for in Euros, but I also have products I sell in GBP.

I added the currency, checked the box to update daily exchange rate, and when I am making the new product in Products/Services, both fields are there, for GBP and EUR...

So when I add the price of the item in EUR, it does not show up in the billing cart (when I try order), it will only show if I add the prices in GBP.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It is the group that you set which currency you sell the products in.

eg.

group = hosting

with 1 x product for EURO S and 1 x product for GBP,

could be done like:

group = hosting (EURO S)

with 1 x product for EURO S

and

group = hosting (GBP)

with 1 x product for GBP

Hope this helps

  • 1 month later...

I tried to setup 2 different server groups with their own set of plans, and used the -1 option to not display the unwanted currency for each set of hosting plans.

Doesn't have the desired effect for 2 reasons:

1. the currency selected is still available, and if customer tries to use the 'wrong' currency you still see the pricing dropdowns but with blank entires.

2. existing customers can only choose products that match their default currency as per their profile.

I'm hoping new version 4.2 pricing enhancements will have something to solve this.
