ninak
Ok, I am not familiar with doing the upgrades on WHMCS. (I am familiar with another product, but won't mention it here) I have backed up my database, uploaded the WHMCS zipped file and extracted it to a separate folder (just in case) Currently I am using Version: 4.1.1 and the upgrade is 4.1.2 Should I download the files in the new version and just upload and overwrite the older version? or do I create another database and import the backed up one? So many questions and so little time.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 26, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 26, 2010 Upgrading from 4.1.1 > 4.1.2 is a simple case of downloading the incremental update from our client area and uploading + overwriting the files.
ninak
Thank you, I tried that last night and it worked great. Was a bit afraid that I would not have all my info but it went smooth. Thanks again for responding. (Other then the templates section, I think I like this program a lot, still learning it but it is very good)
21Eighty
I am about to do the upgrade myself and was wondering where to upload some of the files. When I installed WHMCS originally, the instructions told me I could rename and move some things as long as I addressed them in the config file. When I upload the admin folder for example, do I just upload it as the admin directory, or do I upload the files in that folder to the renamed admin directory I created when I did the original install?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 8, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 8, 2010 You'd rename the contents of the /admin folder to your custom named folder.
