mikewastaken
Hi, first off I'm just hosting my first client and trying not to look completely clueless in the process. Couple questions : 1. I'm offering 3 months free hosting. They registered their own domain. What is the best way to do this? I set it up as recurring monthly and set next due date 3 months from now. Is that how you would do it? or is it better to have invoices created and auto paid each month? 2. I can't remember if whmcs will actually set up accounts, I set their domain name and package through whmcs, but it didn't show up in whm. Do I have to manually set it up? I'll have more... Thanks guys
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 18, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 18, 2010 1. I'd recommend adding 3* monthly fee as a credit to the client's account. The invoice will then be automatically paid using the credit. 2. If it wasn't automatically setup you probably have WHMCS configured to create the account when accepting the order - so you'll need to do that.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 19, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 19, 2010 Yes, accounts can be manually setup though WHMCS, click the Add Order link on the client's summary page.
