Timtimtim
Hello, Is it normal, that after a customer fills in the form to change the nameservers or registrant contacts and clicks on send/submit, nothing happens (no message to confirm) and the forms become empty? Is it also normal that the forms are empty before they fill in? If so, please implement it in a new version of WHMCS, I think this is very important. If not, what can be wrong? Thanks.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 5, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 5, 2010 Doesn't sound normal to me. Which registrar are you using and is the domain unlocked?
Timtimtim
Thanks for your answer. I just see that it works with the built-in registrars. It only doesn't work with the SIDN as registrar (SIDN is the direct .nl (Netherlands) domain register). .nl domains can't be locked. I've also contacted the seller of the SIDN module. There are a lot of companies in Holland using this module without any problems.
Timtimtim
By the way, now I speak you John, is it correct that I should not update to PHP version 5.3? Do you have some updates regarding this topic: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=25965? Do you now if I can update to newer versions of PHP?
Timtimtim
Sorry for dubble posting, I don't see a button to edit my last message. I've got an answer from the seller of the SIDN module. He says that it doesn't work, because WHMCS can't save it in the database. With other registrars, WHMCS gets it realtime from the registrars. The SIDN has no API, it only works with e-mails. Is it possible to let it work (saving the nameservers in the WHMCS database)? If not, please note this as an -for me- important feature request.
Timtimtim
Does anybody have an answer/solution for me? And @ the staff: Is this marked as an feature request? Is there any possibility to add this to an update shortly? I receive a lot of questions about this from customers saying it doesn't work well ans "make your system work correctly". Thanks.
sgrayban
Do not use php 5.3 -- it was just released in November 2009 and no distro is supporting this version yet.
