megatr0n
I am testing out the order process for a test webhost package I have already setup in whmcs. I have it set to automatically setup product upon first payment. When the order goes completes whmcs sends out only four emails to the new customer: "Order Confirmation", "Customer Invoice", "Invoice Payment Confirmation" and "Welcome". It does not send out a "New Account Information" email, which should contain the login details for cpanel. I can successfully log into the client area but not cPanel. I checked the account from my administrator area and I see where it says active and paid also. I have tried several times to setup a test account to see if it would send the email with the cpanel login but it never sends it, though it sends all others.
Scotty501
Have you accepted the order in the order section of the adminstration panel?

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 29, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 29, 2009 Has the account actually been created on the server? Check Utilities > Activity Log for any errors.
megatr0n
I see something very odd in the Activity Log: "Module Create Failed - Service ID: 22 - Error: Sorry, a group for that username already exists. System" What does this mean? I deleted the old client with the same name before placing order so there shouldn't be any conflict.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 29, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 29, 2009 It means an account already exists on the server for that username. If you have a reseller account it might already exist under a different reseller.
megatr0n
k. So how do I delete that account entirely? I thought I deleted from the View->Clients.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 29, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 29, 2009 The account exists on the server, deleting the client in WHMCS won't do anything to the server. If you definitely can't see the hosting account in WHM but the error is still occurring I guess you could contact your hosting provider to see if they will confirm whether the account exists under another reseller?
megatr0n
How do I remove the account completely from the server? I don't see where else to go delete. I want to get rid of all traces of the account. Edited December 29, 2009 by megatr0n
megatr0n
Helpful advice but I don't think I will need to contact customer support. To delete the account altogether, all I had to do was to terminate it from WHM by doing this: http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Delete_Account_in_WHM And ofcourse, make sure the account is deleted from whmcs too. Cheers
