Lilacor
Hi all, I have encountered the following problem while using the SEO-friendly URL option. It seems that the WHMCS encounters some difficulties with titles in Cyrillic alphabet, because as I tried the option instead of turning each of the symbols in my titles into URL symbols, the CMS has turned each Cyrillic word in my title into a dash (-) in my URL. Can you help me on this matter, because it's really frustrating. Example: Как да променям PHP настройките? the URL ends in: /---PHP-.html instead of ending in: /как-да-променям-PHP-настройките.html Very annoying! Also, I'd like to ask if there's a way to automatically convert every Cyrillic symbol into a Latin one and how. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Lilacor
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 16, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 16, 2009 Only latin characters can be used with SEO Friendly URLs. There isn't any kind of automatic converter.
pikos
Hello, I also have this problem with Unicode Greek characters.. so.. Could you please add an other textbox (SEO Title) near the title ? I could use it in order to write a more seo friendly title for my post..
