As prices keep dropping there is no such thing as "good support" unless you pay extra for it either per case or SL agreement ( monthly fee ) Cant be cost effective and profitable for any DC to rent a box ( and whatever infrastructure comes with it ) for prices starting at 40 bucks a month AND offer true support at this price - plain math m8 Dont get disappointed. If you would rent a CoreDuo for $200 a month or a dual xeon for $600 a month , well in this case you should expect skilled technicians available to solve your problem for free within a few minutes , at true 24X7 basis. PS: Various different ( damn those modern marketing techniques lol ) SLA's available where i keep my servers, but i never pay for SL agreement , and i keep praying nothing bad happens , if it does i m ...prepared for hours delay in fixing and/or pay some good cash

I know Strats for years, i know he is a perfectionist , i know he is capable of trying and struggle for God knows how long to achieve exactly what he thinks perfect, i know first hand how many MONTHS he had to spend in trying to deeply understand and fully learn MB operation, and last , how many months i was trying to show him the light and make him believe there IS an easy way to do ALL things need done, with just a click Really could not stand watching him fight with the "monster" and the tons of problems as (for example) upgrade to v5 simply could not happen - i m sure ex-MB users know exactly what i mean... I m happy he has finally seen the light and switched to WHMCS ! I m even happier he's satisfied

would love to see this option when a new customer orders domain only or hosting and domain, to be given this chance to add another TLD to his order ...furhtermore would love to see an option where client will be able to buy 2 , 3 or more domains when ordering! i think its essential...

Hi Paul, this is not a "theoretical" question m8 WHMCS been working fine for about a year now with limitations changing at times according to what needed limited at certain time periods - i believe you understand At this time i may have to limit this set of functions, few days trial run > had issues as expected... thus asking in case a simple answer ( like " this will prevent that module, rest have no effect on whmcs" ) would solve problem ...

Been trying to make email pipe work, i did setup a mail account for this purpose, the problem is emails return to sender, undelivere, with error message like this: A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: pipe to | php -q /home/username/public_html/members/pipe/pipe.php generated by [email]abuse@domain.com[/email] local delivery failed The following text was generated during the delivery attempt: ------ pipe to | php -q /home/username/public_html/members/pipe/pipe.php generated by [email]abuse@domain.com[/email] ------ Site error: the file [b]/home/usernamez/public_html/members/pipe/pipe.php[/b] requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator. Now.. Ioncube we dont have "installed" but we do have loaders folder in place and php.ini in all folders, and never had an issue with script running as everything works normally, except mail pipe also added this line at php.ini zend_extension = /home/username/public_html/members/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so but no luck.. error message remains *PS username/domain are of course set to their proper values

Sorted - somehow configuration php got corrupted or changed during first script run, probably due to me forgetting to copy php.ini in install folder ( first install run had produced an error) - replacing with file from backup solved the problem

i m trying to upgrade from 258, when i run the install.php i see all options ( new install and all upgrade options) but the ONLY selectable option is new install All other buttons cannot be selected Any ideas?

Email pipe to support ticketing system suddenly and for no apparent reason started behaving irregular yesterday. Symptom is that emails sent with subject : Re: [Ticket ID: XXXX ] Subject_here , WILL BE FORWARDED in ticket system and will appear in ticket list as usual ( example: Re: [Ticket ID: 930941] This is a test ) however ALL other emails will be ...lost Not a clue where all the rest emails are gone, just dissapearing I am running RELEASE tree CPanels autoupdates and i realise can be the cause... Some update in this tree that took place yesterday... OR... some junk email ( spam ) i received in support email adresses that may contained code that screwed up a bit the system... I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this as of today AND if received email code is properly sanitized ... i mean god knows what code can be sent via such an email thanks

Thank you Steve for your reply, it was the reply i was waiting for , verifies there should be some issue, but as this is only related in OLD version code i think its unfair to ask Matt to get in God knows how much trouble to fix something already fixed in NEWER code, i think its time indeed for both of us to upgrade to latest! PS Of course we are not expecting add ons I think i speak on behalf of all those that chose to wait, we were only waiting for bugfixes. If latest available download in clients area ( dated SEP 3 ? ) contains ALL bugfixes , i think its now a good time to move on...

see at MB what happened after their recent update.. chaos to say the least... I have a friend who has MB i can tell you he suffered ... bugs and broken modules, malfunctions... see here what happened after 2.5 recent update, several bugs discovered, few more may be discovered in the next few weeks, people complaining about different things It is all as expected. I chose NOT to update untill new topics in support suggest new version is very very stable i was ( and still am) a VERY HAPPY custommer running 2.4.1 solid rock stable was hoping for a reply from people who chose wait, of course if no replies whatsoever i will have to upgrade to latest stable...

Hi, I m running Version: 2.4.1 , was working FINE until oday that i updated CPanel/WHM to latest release tree ( recommended action to prevent a serious security issue, ref http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=58135 and discussion topic "Major Exploit" : http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=58090 ) After this time , WHMCS cannot create anymore new accounts in WHM, cannot terminate accounts, and possible lost other functionality. Message is always "created/terminated SUCESSFULLY" still its not. As NOTHING ELSE changed and timing is such , i take it should be related to RECENT changes in CPanel. Anyone else experiencing this malfunction?

An excellent, carefully designed, trully complete script. Top class professional work, rare in php scripts market, a market area where anyone with a decent knowlege of php decides to make some easy money with a poor piece of code, usually full of problems, complex installation, no support and numerous other problems. Your company stands out together with just a handfull of other companies offering QUALITY products I admit i started over a year ago with some louzy script costing just 14 bucks, dont even remember the name... was just money thrown out of the window and a big dissapointment. My 2 cents: No point even trying such cheap scripts... PS: Was just about ready to purchase MBill, license for just 100 domains costs about the same as whmcs UNLIMITED domains, this was a bit of a problem, but reason i prefered whmcs was that i never share my credit card info with anyone except PayPal Now, i consider myself lucky Again congratulations!
