  1. I have setup an addon and set it to be a one-time fee. When the client receives an email with the order the $ amount in the email is identified as recurring and the Billing Cycle is left blank. Setup Fee: $0.00 Recurring Amount: $50.00 Billing Cycle: Any ideas how to fix ?
  2. what file are you referring to when you say custom php file? You talking about the configuration.php file? $templates_compiledir = "templates_c/";
  3. I finally had a friend help me with this. In case someone else is like me and not that familiar with SQL queries here is a quick reference. The query below will replace 'offlinecc' with the 'mailin' gateway in the table called 'tblinvoiceitems' in the database called 'ecocom_whmcs'. Adjust accordingly. There were about 6 or 8 tables that required the changes. To find which tables you will need to perform the updates in just run a search in PHPMyAdmin. The result will identify which tables need working on. NOTE: I did not use this method on 'tblpaymentgateways'. I did this through WHMCS once all the other tables were cleared. update ecocom_whmcs.tblinvoiceitems SET paymentmethod='mailin' WHERE paymentmethod='offlinecc' I hope it helps others. Cheers,
  4. I am consistently getting the following error. Notice the extra '/' in "ecohosting/.tpl". Where can this be corrected? It is causing some emails to not get delivered. Thanks. [16-Mar-2009 17:22:13] PHP Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "ecohosting/.tpl" in /home/ecocom/public_html/secure/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095
  5. Like a few others I am also experiencing the situation where new manually generated invoices are selecting a gateway I no longer use. I have over 300 transactions to change the gateway for so I can effectively 'delete' the gateway from the system. I'm not about to do that manually. I'm not very SQL capable but can someone propose an SQL query that would effectively replace all table entries from one payment method to another? say from "offlinecc" to "mailin"?
  6. Hey everyone, We had the opportunity to work on translating the email templates into French. We laid it out in an Excel spreadsheet. There are a few emails that remain to be completed but it is about 80% complete (we don't use many of them so we didn't bother with every email). Is there anyone out there willing to take this and complete the French translation of the email templates? It can then be shared with all users who need it. Better still, seeing it is a spread sheet, other languages can be easily added. Maybe it can server as a template to which users can add their own translations and eventually have Matt include them directly in the release. Matt, you have any ideas how this can be managed? Do you have any other mechanism that would be easier to work with? Passing a single file around may get tricky. Please feel free to improve on the files layout, I'm not much of an Excel user. Cheers! 7. This may be totally off but I had similar problems when creating my French translations for the email messages. I found I was pasting content from word and a lot of that needless and heavy formatting was getting pasted along with the text. After viewing the email's HTML code I saw it. Cleaned it up and that pretty much fixed it for me. It may be some of the more complex HTML tags are tripping up the smarty compiler.
  8. It also says not found. The two things I've made sure are properly set is: a) the username and password to the account. I've actually changed them several times to ensure they are correct. b) that my IP is being accepted by Enom. If I remember I added the whole c-class. I wanted to verify with Enom about the IP and see if they are getting any error messages but they said I cannot get that info as we are a sub-account to WHMCS. Let me know if you need any further information. Thanks, and happy new year! G
  9. When I first setup the account this function worked perfectly without any errors. Now I am getting the following error: Enom Domain Sync Report --------------------------------------------------- Error for domainname.com: Domain name not found This is happening for all the domains. I cannot find anything in my local log files and Enom says it is an issue WHMCS has to deal with as I cannot get direct support because I am a sub-reseller of WHMCS. Let me know if you need any further information from my end. It started with version 3.7 and continues with 3.8.
  10. Can you please post the solution? I am having the same issue....I will keep looking in the forum as it may be elsewhere but it would be nice to end a thread with the solution
  11. I have been getting the following error from the whmimport.php script since upgrading. Any issues here wwe sould be concerned about? Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/ecocom/public_html/secure/admin/whmimport.php on line 0
  12. A littl elate but let's not forget http://www.joomlart.com for amazing Joomla templates. Very easy to work with and they look really good to boot.
  13. The only files that would have been modified are the template files and I know the header has not been touched. This is from the default template header.tpl which is identical to my custom template header. It must be something else. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset={$charset}" /> <title>{$companyname} - {$pagetitle}</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/{$template}/style.css" /> </head> <body>
  14. I've now had two clients within a week complain about getting the following errors: *Warning*: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in */home/ecocom/public_html/secure/includes/functions.php* on line *0* *Warning*: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/ecocom/public_html/secure/includes/functions.php:0) in */home/ecocom/public_html/secure/cart.php* on line *0* I have added the display_errors off but it is still showing up. Any progress on this issue Matt? G
  15. Hey Matt, Doesn't this just hide the error message? There is something deeper causing this. Should this be of any concern to us? G
  16. I was wondering if anyone knew how to show the balance owing on an invoice when it is printed to PDF. I also noticed that from an account point of view the way the balance is showed (as a negative) is technically wrong. If a client sees a balance on an account in the negative then it is owed to them. An accountant pointed this out to me. IS this right? any thoughts from other accountants out there? Thanks, G
  17. Hi; I have it set up so customers buying a new domain can choose 1,3,5 years at different prices. When it is time to renew, they get an invoice based on the registration. My customer wants to change from 1 year to 5. How can they change the registration period for the renewal? Or is this something I have to do in the admin area for them? Thanks Gord
  18. I too would like any insight into OpenSRS integration. I have singed up with OpenSRS and am ready to test, but do not know what to try. I ordered a domain from the front end of WHMCS and try to process it in the admin area,. At this page admin/clientsdomainreg.php?domainid=13&action=do&ac= I hit submit which disappears and nothing happens. Do we have to download and install opensrs client software? Confused Gord
  19. I've had the same questions and after reading the manual from the link above here is what the 3 numbers represent. First number is the X coordinate Second is the Y coordinate Third is the logo size. I don't fully understand this one but I think it is merely the width, the proportions remain intact. The number does not represent pixels. I am not familiar with the units used to measure this out. I hope this helps. Cheers!
  20. Hi Everyone, New to WHMCS and I gotta say I'm loving it! Great job! I'm on a trial right now but I am so convinced this is the right solution I have already begun integration into our site. I have one question (or maybe feature request?); can I create two separate yet inclusive tax rules so they both display on the invoice? Things are a little complicated here in Canada. In Quebec we have a provincial tax (7.5%) and a federal tax (6%). Provincial taxes are applied to the full amount including the federal tax. What this amounts to is a total taxation of 13.95%. This is easy enough to do and works fine but our clients need the tax breakdown for their records. IE we need to see this kind of breakdown for invoices (amounts only): Amount: $100.00 Fed Tax: $6.00 ($100 x 6%) Prov Tx: $7.95 ($106 x 7.5%) Total : $113.95 Is this possible given the current tax system in WHMCS? If not is it something that could be considered? Thanks, Gio EcoHosting.com
  21. I have set up one support department "General Support" with the email whmcs@ecohosting.com and have set up email piping. Mails to whmcs@ecohosting.com get piped to WHMCS but end up in the Utilities->SUPPORT TICKETS MAIL IMPORT LOG saying "Department Not Found. Anyone else have this problem? El Gordo at EcoHosting
