Hello, Why is there no way for customer to cancel their OX App Suite add on? I have looked and there is nothing on the client area allowing customer to cancel this particular service. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I was able to resolve this by logging in as user and invite user by profile email address so he was added as a user. Then switch him to be the owner.

Thats the weird thing - the profile and the user owner should be the same. Case here was owner who signed up originally lost hist password. His info is in profile. But he had 2 users and one of them was owner, but no longer with the company. The person with the profile cannot reset password, nor does the lost password function for the profile owner. We need to tie the profile with the user thats labeled as owner.

I have a customer who is on the profile but not a user and he can no longer log in. I can't figure out how to add him to the users list.

I don't understand this. Why can't the profile owner reset password but a user can? Seems like a user who is a different contact from the profile is the owner of the account? This make no sense to me. How do I add the profile owner to the users list in a customers account so that they too can reset their password if needed. Especially now that we have no way to reset it for them. If I try and invite to associate user, the email does not come up in the list even though that email is in the account profile.

Yes thats the most obvious solution using PayPal basic which is what im doing. But thats not acceptable. PayPal basic uses legacy methods which probably has an expiration date... I want to use the PayPal check out mainly because it handles multi-currency without having to convert.

Is it just me or does anyone else have issues with PayPal checkout taking center stage in the checkout process over other payment gateways? With PayPal checkout it prominent before the checkout page before you see any other payment options. This bothers me - especially the Debit or Credit Card option. I would rather customers uses our merchant gateway instead of PayPal to pay via credit card. Why is this a problem? 2 reasons - 1. it gives PayPal unfair advantage over other gateways and 2. PayPal fraud check is dismal. You get charged charge back fee if customer uses credit card through PayPal and you have no way to differentiate when a new order comes through. I think we should at least have an option to disable this PayPal option and let them choose this option on the checkout page along with the other gateway options. John

PayPal checkout module is giving PayPal preferred treatment over other payment option. As now 90% of our new customers are using PayPal. I have reverted back to the old PayPal so that its easier for customer to find and select the payment option that they want. What are your thoughts on this?

I have noticed this as well. There is no email about credit card expiring sent to customer either. I've been concerned about this.

Hello, When setting this in settings/invoices > "Preserve client details upon invoice generation to prevent profile changes for existing invoices" How does one update their details if needed to show on past and future invoices? I have customer wanting to add vat info but it only shows up on old and future invoices if I uncheck the above. So how do I get snapshots to re-generate with newer data? Thanks

Hello, I can understand style guide changing from 6x to 7x, but is a big waste of my time when I find changes from 7.1.2 to 7.2.x and 7.3. When you finalize 7.x you need to stick with that style guide. Not go changing style names that affect hover and other styles that should have been frozen until version 8. Its Poor strategy otherwise. John

I have been using whmcs for many years and my products/services and server list in setup has a LOT of baggage I wish to clean up. so if have a customer who has a terminated package whmcs will not let me delete that package. For example one package - which I used about 10 years ago no longer has any active customers using it. I get this error when trying to delete the package: "You cannot delete a product that is in use. To delete the product, you need to first re-assign or remove the products using it." Same problem with servers. What do you guys do to clean up your product and server lists of products and servers you no longer use? Thanks, John

I have the same question. I have tried to set this up for suspension status and 25 days before next due date. Suspension happens 2 days after due, and then I want this email to be sent 3 days after it was suspended. It never sends any notices out.

Hello, We've been using WHMCS for many years now and one of the things that we struggle with to this day is figuring out what package an invoice belongs to. We have customers that have many packages and the names are similar so we have to go through each one to see which one we need to focus on. It would really help if the order # was included in the invoice entries as well as on the left side in the package drop down. This would save us a lot of time! Thanks! John

Hello, We are starting to sell dedicated servers with options such as different assortment of hard drives, sata, sas and SSD as well as memory configurations. Is there a way to setup order form so that if they choose maximum number of Sata drives that they cant also select a number of SSD drives as well? thanks John
