  1. Nice, but I have 1 last thing... More content on the home page...
  2. We were using CE for the last, almost two years now. The problem was that if there was a bug you would usually have to live with it for a few months before they fixed it. Requests took them six months to a year to implement if they ever did. Most of the time you would just get ignored. A lot of requests forum threads would get 20-30 posts long and just disappear or fade away. Not to mention the fact that the newest version, still in beta, is just now implementing some of the features that were requested well over a year ago, and that most other systems already have. We used both MB and AWBS each for about two to three months. AWBS I don't really have to go into... it's simple the client front end is nice if you want to use their templates / layout and the back end/admin is a mess. MB is limited on the integration (ordering only) full of bugs, full of bugs, did I say full of bugs , and their support, and constant lies, and it is way over priced for what it's worth, and, and, and, and ...... There are two of us here that can script pretty well. It wasn't just the matter of time involved. It was the matter of how much we could save if we could just find a good system!!!!!! <- put some emphasis on that!!! It has been a long search but WHMCS with the support of Matt is just that system.
  3. We were debating for a while on creating our own management system but the benefits of using a commercial system far out weigh the time and cost of scripting/securing/implementing/etc. etc. etc... our own. It was just a matter of finding a system that could meet or even exceed our needs. WHMCS has met and far exceeded our needs and even expectations. Matt's willingness to take on special requests (custom scripting) far exceeds that of any of the other systems we have used. (MB, AWBS, & CE) :D:D
  4. Try {php} include("yourfile.php"); {/php} and place it towards the top of your template file before your {assign} tags. I have always found the {include_php} tag a bit sketchy.
  5. JasonO fix: That is because you used the cart links for your packages. Go to your WHMCS admin and open each of your packages, copy the order.php URLs and replace your links on that page. That should take care of it... OP fix: You will have to edit your homepage template.
  6. Nice template. Looks like one from HostGator. You should add some color to your service tables so the text is a bit easier to read. If you know how you should also edit the style sheet for WHMCS to match your theme/template.
  7. Hate to open an old thread... It looks like according to the poll about 80% wanted it. In my opinion the other 20% don't have to use it nor are they required. It's their option to purchase the addon or not. I think because this allows master reselling for all CPs and is on the billing front end of the Host it will make for much better account/resource tracking. With WHMreseller you have to login to each server to view what each Master Reseller has for accounts. With this not only could the Master Resellers accounts be load balanced across multiple servers (this is where that server grouping request comes in). It would show just like any other client that has multiple accounts. Matt think if you implemented this WHMCS would have a demanding lead over the rest of the client billing/management scripts available. Not just that it would really open a whole new market for the hosting industry. Sorry VPS providers ;-). This will increase the profit margins a bit and give demanding control in the hosting market back to the hosts. Tell me who wouldn't want to be a Master Reseller selling multi-homed services with out all the hard work of managing all of the servers. Like I said... I smell a new market.
