  1. Hi @Damo My configuration was done by support staff, who placed the crons folder in the root directory (outside of public_html). This is the recommended practice ( https://docs.whmcs.com/8-13/getting-started/configuring-whmcs/move-the-cron-directory/ ). But yes, when done, the auto updates don't touch those files in the root directory. But yes, copying/overwriting the crons with the new copies in my whmcs application folder /cron did the trick & everything is functioning as it should be...
  2. My WHMCS installation was done by tech support, so I'm only catching up on details now. Its cron folder is found outside of public_html in the root directory of my shared hosting server, in this directory: whmcsdata/cron/cron.php When WHMCS gets auto updated. These files don't get updated (a fact I only discovered recently). Only the files within public_html get updated. Do I need to copy the contents of the updated /cron directory (found in public_html/whmcs/), and paste them over the outdated files in whmcsdata/cron/cron.php? I am assuming the answer is yes, but I wanted to double check before doing anything stupid. As an additional Q, are there any other files which need to be manually updated like this? Thanks!
  3. Just checking if it's possible to receive input on what would happen if I say forgot to accept the account & it remained in pending status. When would problems occur (if ever)?
  4. Thanks so much ChrisD And if I never Accept the account (keeping it in Pending status), could you give me an idea of what stage problems will occur (if ever)? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I understand that even when I select "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received" under module settings for a product, when a customer places an order, the order will be set to "Pending" status. Does this mean, say for a reseller hosting package, if a Welcome Email is selected, that the client will still receive their welcome email with login credentials, and be able to log in to their newly created cPanel account? Or does it mean they will only be able to log in to their new cPanel account after I go in and change the status of the order from Pending to Accepted? Thanks!
  6. I have several previously established cPanel accounts on my server/WHM (eg. www.example.com & www.example2.com) How do I transition those accounts so that they may sign up through WHMCS & enter payment details, without encountering a problem when WHMCS attempts to provision their domain names/cPanel accounts?
  7. Welcome to WHMCS.Community Madumi! We're glad you're here please take some time to familiarise yourself with the Community Rules & Guidelines and take a moment to introduce yourself to other WHMCS.Community members in the Introduce Yourself Board.
