I have an installation problem. I'm on step 4 now but it says could not connect to database server : unable to connect to database. I've tried everything except the Right thing. Would appreciate any and all help with this! And thank you in advance.

I'm totally new to WHMCS so I decided this was the best place to come first before I try installing it. Wanting it to be smooth but I do know nothing ever is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I want to know as much as I can before I get started. Thanks in advance.
