  1. I am getting the Insecure Permissions warning on the configuration file. Mine is set to 400, I also tried 440 and 444. No matter the setting, the warning persists. This is with WHMCS 7.1.0 Amazingly buggy. I can't run cron jobs without getting the cURL version error. I can't set up automatic updates because WHMCS won't accept the path I specify. I can no longer run CRON tasks because of an ionCube version issue. This is so frustrating using this. - - - Updated - - - More specifically, the ionCube error is this: The file /home/user/public_html/whmcs/crons/cron.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader.

  3. I'm getting this warning in my WHMCS installation as well and I am hosted on HostGator. It's safe to ignore this warning? HostGator told me there was nothing I could do to update cURL since it is installed on the Shared Server.
  4. I am not able to set the temporary path either. WHMCS 7.1.0 I have tried all different absolute paths, trailing slash, no trailiing slash. Etc. All I get is a spinning beachball once I click submit and then nothing. Last thing I tried was /home/my_user/tmp/whmcs_tmp I have tried using Chrome, Safari, Firefox on a Mac. I can't PM WHMCS ChrisD since the forum software won't allow me. Stuck and need help.
