I'm trying the localAPI and I get the weirdest error message when I try to add a client. Mind you listing clients works fine. $command = "addclient"; $adminuser = "Programmer"; $postfields["firstname"] = "Test"; $postfields["lastname"] = "User"; $postfields["companyname"] = "WHMCS"; $postfields["email"] = "demo@whmcs.com"; $postfields["address1"] = "123 Demo Street"; $postfields["city"] = "Demo"; $postfields["state"] = "Florida"; $postfields["postcode"] = "AB123"; $postfields["country"] = "US"; $postfields["phonenumber"] = "123456789"; $postfields["password2"] = "demo"; $postfields["currency"] = "1"; $results = localAPI($command,$postfields,$adminuser); print_r($results); Array ( [result] => error [message] => You did not enter your first name ) Why is this not working. firstname is obviously set. Anyone? using 5.2

if (file_exists("../init.php")) { require("../init.php"); } else { require("../dbconnect.php"); require("../includes/functions.php"); } require("../includes/gatewayfunctions.php"); require("../includes/invoicefunctions.php"); $clientid = 0; $postfields = array(); $command = "addclient"; $adminuser = "Programmer"; $values["firstname"] = "Test"; $values["lastname"] = "User"; $values["companyname"] = "WHMCS"; $values["email"] = "demo@whmcs.com"; $values["address1"] = "123 Demo Street"; $values["city"] = "Demo"; $values["state"] = "Florida"; $values["postcode"] = "AB123"; $values["country"] = "US"; $values["phonenumber"] = "123456789"; $values["password2"] = "demo"; $values["currency"] = "1"; $results = localAPI($command,$values,$adminuser); print_r($results); exit(); error : You did not enter your first name. WTF? What am I doing wrong? -
hello, I found this in the invoice as well, what I am wondering is what is the token name value used for? I see it is not in the example you've provided. When I look at the paypal button inputs there is a token. is that mandatory? What is it for and how do I generate it if it is? Thank you for the response. So I have it working but the IPN seems to not be working. the logs say invalid handshake. maybe this has to do with the Token?

Did you end up generating the link? If so can you show me?

Hello, I'm wondering how the gateway addons use capturepayment API call. is there a specific hook that is being called?

Free Stripe Payment Gateway with Stripe.js support
thedangler replied to jclarke's topic in Third Party Add-ons
I have one more question. I've done the following.. "save the stripe customer number in the WHMCS client database as the gateway id. After you have stored the gateway id you would then need to call the capture payment api method" Do you mean the stripe customer id? if so I've done everything you said and it only worked after I passed the CC information to the client tbl. We are currently debating to buy your support or StripeXS... -
Free Stripe Payment Gateway with Stripe.js support
thedangler replied to jclarke's topic in Third Party Add-ons
Thank you for the response. I have one more question bothering me. The cart right now makes me fill out all the information the CC information. Then when I click check out it takes me to creditcard.php. I fill in the CC info again and process the order but nothing happens. It remains on creditcard.php with no errors. And I'm slowly loosing my mind. M -
Either way, why do you fill out the client and CC information twice? is there a way not to goto creditcard.php?
-
Hello, I'm using the ajax cart and on the one page I fill out all the information products, addons, client info, and I choose a gateway. If I choose Credit card. a form drops down and I fill out the info. When Im checkout It takes me to another page with all the same information filled in and I have to fill out the CC information again. Why? I'm using StripeXS for the gateway I'm not seeing any errors. And the CC payments never go through. What should I do? Am I supposed to fill all this information out again on /creditcard.php ? Or is the test CC being declined and not telling me.

Free Stripe Payment Gateway with Stripe.js support

I want to use the external API to make a new purchase. OR use the cart with Stripe js. Are there any detail instructions on how to do either of these? M -
Hello, I'm using the external API to do all the ordering and I was wondering what the steps are to actually making a CC transactions? I want to use Stripe WHMCS Payment Gateway. From my understanding I have to create a client first, update their information with CC then make and invoice, and capture the payment. How does that work with third party gateways like Stripe WHMCS Payment Gateway where it tokenizes the CC data. How does one use the Stripe.js in this process? Documentation on everything is somewhat lacking. Any help would be appreciated.

using external order form with API's to create orders
thedangler replied to Zxurian's topic in Developer Corner
does it do it now? -
Hello, I'm new to WHMCS dev and i've been fooling around with customizing the ajax cart. It seems to be going smoothly, a little lack of documentation has brought me to ask. How do I get the credit card information all on one page with the contact and product selection? Currently it sends me to creditcard.php but I kind of want that portion all on one page. The CC processor are paypal and Stripe. It would seem that when Stripe is selected the CC information isn't displayed. If I hit checkout it takes me to another page that has the form for the CC information. For example one the WHMCS site when you goto buy it when you get to select how you want to pay. when selecting CC the CC information shows up on that page. How can I achieve this? Any help would be appreciated. M
